DIY: Onion Bag Dish Scrubby

Onion Bag Dish Scrubby collageOnce you’ve made my Easy Crock-Pot Onion Soup Recipe a few times you can help reduce your kitchen waste by making this onion bag dish scrubby. 

What you’ll need:

  • 3-4 onion bags
  • needle
  • needle
  • Singer transparent nylon thread
  • scissors

How you’ll make it:

  • Empty onion bags of all onion skins
  • Trim bags to the same length
  • Roll up onion bags and place one inside of  another
  • pull metal tips through the center and secure with thread
  • secure ends of all bags by sewing together all layers
  • tie off the nylon thread and cut

Care/cleaning:

  • rinse all food particles out after each use
  • re-sew as necessary
