Discovering the Fringe Association: My sublime introduction to yarnophilia

Fringe Association

I don’t know exactly how I came across Karen Templar’s blog . . . it just happened.  I believe it was divine intervention and it began while I was looking for yarn spun thick enough to make quick work of a blanket using the gigantic knitting needles I began making over the weekend. I still haven’t found the yarn, but I did find my way into an association built on passion, encouragement and friendship.

I have only been knitting for less than two weeks (I just learned to purl) and over the last 24 hours I have been devouring Fringe Association. Seriously, if you consider yourself a devout yarnophile like Karen, the proprietor of Fringe Supply Co, you will love what she is creating and sharing. Though I am no where near advanced enough *yet* to participate in The Amanda knitalong of Fall 2014 (aka #fringeandfriendsknitalong), I am hopeful that over time I will learn.

If you are looking for the perfect gifts for the yarnophile in your life – I urge you to fix yourself a cup of tea and sit down with Fringe Supply Co. Holiday 2014 catalog. . . if you really love your yarnophile you’ll send them a link to it too!

Here are a few of my favorite things from the 2014 catalog that are perfect gifts for yourself or the yarnophile in your life:
