Recently I had the opportunity to sit down with Philip Jones of WFMY News 2 (@philgoodstory on the Twitter) and talk about Facebook and Politics.

Danielle Hatfield's interview with Phillip Jones of WFMY News 2 on Facebook and PoliticsNow, I’m sure that, like me,  you’ve noticed an increase in political posts on Facebook (both good, bad and funny) over the last few months. It’s no secret that social media has found a new role in politics.

So what’s Fair on Facebook when it comes to politics? How has this election year and the increased social posting changed the way you are using Facebook?

Have you been shocked by friends political views? Have you unfriended anyone over a political affiliation or post? Have any heated debates that digressed into emotional and factless tirades? How have you dealt with trolls?

Take a look at my interview with Phillip and let me know how you are dealing with politics and Facebook in the comments below.

Don’t forget to join in the discussion over at Philip’s Facebook page!
