On Friday January 2nd Josephus III along with musicians, dancers, singers, poets, and

actors, transcended creative barriers and offered First Friday patrons at StudioB an opportunity to experience the soulful performances that will be the key ingredient in making the 2009 Reasons 2 Rhyme Poetry Series a success.

The free Poetry Series will offer the community a variety of spoken word poetry, dance, live music and theater performances throughout the year beginning with the 5th Annual Black History Month Production entitled ‘Passage’, which takes place on Saturday February 7th at 8:00pm, at Guilford College’s Dana Auditorium. Doors open at 7pm.

“Life is a collective experience, a group effort, a journey that we must work together to complete.” Says Josephus, who is determined in making Greensboro a destination for the arts.
