@telleyg, @hearapplause, @yourhometriad and @brandonpierce helped prep for #HootUpTriad on Jan 29th!

You may have heard that  2012 was a year of hyper-growth for HootSuite.  Having been a user for years, I can honestly say it’s easy to see why.

Let me begin with how grateful I am to be a Hootsuite Envoy for North Carolina. For those of you who use Hootsuite, you know what a vibrant and giving community it’s founders and employees continue to contribute to. So, for me, you can understand that to be a part of this amazing team is an exiting opportunity.  Their brand passion is truly remarkable and I am learning so much from Owls from all across the globe.

Regardless of what country you are in, each local HootSuite community is built by the same grassroots efforts that has made the social media brand management system such a huge success. It’s users are coming together to meet locally through what’s called a #HootUp.

What the heck is a HootUp you ask?

Well, it’s small user-powered events organized to share HootSuite tips & make friends. They are all not necessarily ”official” HootSuite events (but sometimes they are).

The best part? Being a Hootsuite user makes you part of a growing global community.

Local folks, in communities all over the world, can get together for casual and/or educational events to learn and share how they use HootSuite for social media success.  Sharing tips and exchanging stories are part of each event and spreading the HootLove is #1 on the activities list.

I don’t know about you, but I LOVE the idea of being able to travel anywhere in the world and have a community of Owls ready to welcome and teach me something new.

If you are a HootSuite user in the Triad, we want to hear (and help you celebrate) how HootSuite has helped you manage your time, team and brand.

For those of you who don’t know, I’m lucky to live in the beautiful Piedmont Triad region of North Carolina. Our area is ‘within and surrounding the three major cities of Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point.’ So you can imagine that to only pick a few amazing things about our area to share with you is tough.

As a region, the Piedmont Triad is home to many talented Owls who use HootSuite to build their personal and professional brands on a global scale. From individuals and community leaders to entrepreneurs and corporations, there are a growing number of folks that are building their own branch of brand advocates by using HootSuite.

We hope you can make it to the very first #HootUpTriad which will be on January 29th. And remember, even if you don’t use HootSuite, we sure hope you join us! (BIG Thanks to Chantelle, Leona, Michael and my dear husband Brandon for coming together to help prep for the 29th. You guys rock!)

Come prepared to share your best HootSuite tips!

Here are 5 questions you may want to be prepared to answer & share with us. If anything, these will hopefully spark some great conversations for you!

  1. What feature do you love the most about HootSuite?
  2. How do you use HootSuite to manage your brand message?
  3. For new users, what are the best resources for them to learn how to use HootSuite?
  4. What are 3 HootSuite mobile app tips?
  5. How does HootSuite help you manage relationships everyday?

This is going to be a casual and fun event, where we can all share some HootLove!
