How to turn off notifications to subscribed updates on Facebook

Facebook mobile app view: Click on down arrow next to post and select ‘Stop Notifications’ to unsubscribe from updates for the post.

After subscribing to a mid-sized rant post earlier this morning, by Erika Napoletano, I quickly realized that I would have to unsubscribe once my 100% charged phone reached 33% in only a few short hours. Here’s the Facebook post if you are curious and especially if you own your own business.

It kinda sucks that I had to unsubscribe so early in the day because Erika usually says what I’m thinking and I do love to read the comments. I watch to see how she deals with the asshats, trolls, true fans and especially those people who have never owned their own business yet feel the need to offer up arm chair general advice for those of us who do.

I hope these simple instructions help those of you who are new to Facebook or dumbfounded that your phone battery has died and can’t figure out why.

Notifications suck the life out your device! So, unless you keep your phone plugged up all day or have a solar clothes these tips may help:
